The U.S. Army has awarded People, Technology, and Processes a new three-year contract supporting the Fires Center of Excellence in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
LAKELAND, Fla., June 15, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The agreement, overseen by company CEO Victor Buonamia, will see the professional IT services, software solutions, and development training business support the Fires Center of Excellence in a variety of vital and highly specialized areas.
Of the agreement, Buonamia, himself a retired army officer, remarks, "This is a great opportunity for both People, Technology, and Processes, and the Fires Center of Excellence in Fort Sill."
People, Technology, and Processes will present each Joint Fires Observer with small group instruction from the current curriculum.

Explaining the undertaking in more detail, Tony Schwalm, the company's director of special operations, goes on to say, "The U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence provides Mobile Training Team Joint Fires Observer course instruction to multi-service and coalition students attending the field artillery school."
Schwalm continues, "People, Technology, and Processes will conduct academic and simulator instruction, operate and maintain the Deployable Virtual Training Environment and Call for Fire simulators, provide input to government training developers for the Joint Fires Observer program of instruction, and maintain and update lesson plans."
People, Technology, and Processes CFO Nicole Buonamia looks at the individual components more closely and explains that PTP incorporates a virtual reality capability in a laptop-based platform for a variety of training simulations in order to enhance the training experiences for both Army and Marine students.
"Meanwhile," she adds, "the Call For Fire Trainer, another simulator, provides an observed fire training system capable of fulfilling the need for an observed fire training device which supports the artillery training needs of all the services."
Of the scope of the contract, CEO Victor Buonamia further reveals that People, Technology, and Processes will provide Air Force Terminal Attack Controller qualified trainers to the Joint Fires Observer program at Fort Sill.
"The Joint Fires Observer program of instruction includes Joint Fires Observer resident and Mobile Training Team courses as required by the Government," explains Buonamia.

In addition, the CEO goes on to reveal that People, Technology, and Processes will also provide further certified Procurement Technical Assistance Center and Fire Support Specialist contract instructors at various times throughout the agreement period to support unexpected Training Resource Arbitration Panels and surge classes.
