The Steven Kinne Team Wins the Diamond Award at RE/MAX of Texas Annual Convention

Led by Steven Kinne, the team earned high honors during the convention

Through hard work and determination, The Steven Kinne Team won The Diamond Award at the RE/MAX of Texas Annual Convention. With a 2017 sales volume total of over $41 million, the team received the award this past January at the convention.

The Diamond Award goes to a realty team that has a high sales volume. The team was able to accumulate over $41 million in sales. But the team strives on running a business based on the satisfaction of their clients.

The team ensures clients are happy, both during and after the transaction is complete. Their experienced professionals assist buyers and sellers during the entire process. Also, his team has closed more than 1,250 transaction sides. The total amount of these sales are over $170 million.

Steven Kinne leads the team and has received numerous awards himself. He has lived in Houston, Texas, for more than 30 years, earning a business degree from Texas A&M University in 1999.

Throughout his years in real estate, Kinne is proud of the fact that the awards he has earned recognize his hard work. In 2016, he became recognized by the Houston Business Journal as Houston's No. 7 Top Producing Real Estate Agent for the number of transactions during that year.

Also, Kinne was highlighted by both The Houston Chronicle and Houston Association of Realtors for four years in a row as being in the top 25 of agents in the city of Houston. The distinction recognizes those with a high number of transactions. Kinne has climbed the rankings during these years, starting in 2013 (No. 22). Then in 2014, he ranked No. 14. In 2015, he came in at No. 10. And finally, No. 7 in 2017.

But the highlight of his real estate career came in 2016. Kinne became inducted into the exclusive RE/MAX Hall of Fame. The group has grown reserved for the top RE/MAX agents worldwide and their high closing sales. In 2016, Kinne closed 158 transactions.

The award honors those who demonstrate exceptional success in the real estate industry. The goal to make the RE/MAX Hall of Fame is to have more than $3 million in commissions. Plus, the agent must have completed seven years of service with RE/MAX. Not many agents around the world can obtain Hall of Fame status. Less than six percent of all active agents within the company has been able to achieve the honor since its beginning.

This led to Kinne receiving the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award. The award became introduced in 1992, and only a small amount of agents have been able to gain this distinguishment.

The awards listed above aren't the only honors Kinne received at RE/MAX. Since joining the company 14 years ago, Kinne has become a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, the RE/MAX 100% Club, RE/MAX Platinum Club and RE/MAX Titan Club.

The RE/MAX 100% Club emphasizes partners that have achieved levels of richness that were more than double the industry standard. These commissions fluctuate between $100,000 and $249,999.

Introduced in 1994, the RE/MAX Platinum Club acknowledges those associates who rank among the very highest of producers with gross royalties amounts that range between $250,000 and $499,999.

These highly sought Club Awards are individual honors that become based on levels of yearly commissions. Both local and commercial performances are taken into account for the year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. Also, the different Club Awards become determined every February of the following year.
