JENSEN BEACH, Fla., March 27, 2018 (Newswire.com) - JENSEN BEACH, Fla., March 26, 2018 (Newswire) - Now based in Florida, Jillian Stewart has traveled across much of the U.S. in her career as a medical practitioner. In doing so, Stewart has witnessed the efforts of some of the country's hardest-working charities, organizations and foundations.
Having previously been based in South Dakota at the state's Sanford Aberdeen Health, Stewart was already familiar with the work of the institution's Children's Miracle Network.
In this time, the organization has witnessed a 50 percent reduction in deaths owing to driving while intoxicated.

With locations in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Fargo, North Dakota, the network provides support to unwell youngsters and their families.
"100% of funds stay local, and 100% of funds benefit children by providing for specialized equipment, programs and direct child and family assistance," says the network of what it does. "No child will ever be turned away regardless of his or her family's ability to pay."
Another such organization is Safe Harbor, whose mission it is to provide a continuum of services for victims of domestic violence and their children.
Operating out of South Carolina, and speaking of the support received from patrons such as Stewart, the charity remarks, "Every donation makes a difference to our mission."
"We are here, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help victims of domestic violence with counseling, legal support, and safe shelter," the organization continues.
Safe Harbor's primary aim is to eliminate all forms of acceptance towards domestic violence. They succeed in doing this through a coordinated community response, via outreach and by better educating the public on the issue.
"They do excellent work in and around Greenville and across much of South Carolina," says Stewart of her support for Safe Harbor.
"Another charity," she continues, "which I'm proud to support is MADD or Mothers Against Drunk Driving."
Based in Texas and acting across the U.S. and Canada, MADD pledges to put an end to drunk and drug driving.
The organization actively campaigns for stricter impaired driving laws. It also simultaneously supports those affected by the damage done at the hands of drunk or drug drivers since being founded in 1980.
"In this time, the organization has witnessed a 50 percent reduction in deaths owing to driving while intoxicated," remarks Stewart.
Figures from Mothers Against Drunk Driving estimate that this equates to over 370,000 lives saved during the same period.
"The statistics are still horrifying," says the charity of the number of people still killed or injured by intoxicated drivers, adding that "everyone has a responsibility" to help eliminate the problem.
Of her work and charitable contributions, Stewart explains, "As a medical practitioner and expert in my field, I strive to provide quality patient care through comprehensive evaluation and treatment services."
She continues, "Through donating to charities such as the Sanford Health Foundation's Children's Miracle Network, Safe Harbor and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, I know that I'm supporting equally committed individuals in helping those who rely on them."
Jillian Stewart is also involved with South Dakota's Aberdeen Catholic Foundation and has volunteered for further organizations including Planned Parenthood, United Way of America and the Treasure Coast Food Bank.
