EastVale, California, June 12, 2017 (Newswire.com) - EastVale, California training and recruitment company, Staffing PR, is sad to announce that their current business manager, Robert Nelms, is scheduled to retire in July 2017. They wish him all the best in his retirement after a lengthy career in which he has touched the life of many. Before his retirement, he will be handing over his role to Jeffrey Whippo, the newly appointed business manager.
Robert says: "Jeffrey is a true top notch, savvy, business manager. His intelligence is unbelievable, and he has always applied this to the field of business."
"I knew I wanted to become involved in business administration since I was a little child. When I first entered the workforce, however, I worked as an auditor, focusing particularly on local businesses and agencies. I was called in to audit Staffing PR, and was very impressed with what I found there. But what impressed me even more is that they offered me a job. Six years later, I am ready for my next promotion."
Jeffery Whippo
Jeffrey Whippo is Pennsylvania born and bred, and he completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
"Wharton's faculty members create a living network of ideas — one that challenges you to lead with strategic and measurable thinking. Wharton professors are leaders in their fields — half of them have active consulting practices with businesses, not-for-profits, and governments around the world. Their broad expertise creates a range and depth of courses unavailable at any other business school." -mba.wharton.upenn.edu
Robert earned an impressive salary of $108,489 per year. In return, he had to deliver on some significant key performance indicators. It was while doing this that he came across Whippo, and he immediately encouraged him to join the company. Whippo, who gained employment with Staffing PR in 2011, quickly climbed the ranks until he reached the position of assistant business manager, with a salary of $85,000 per year.
Whippo is one of the youngest to have held such a senior position in the history of Staffing PR. He has proven himself to be self-driven and goal-oriented, shown, for instance, in the fact that he was able to finish his MBA at the age of 25, which is surprisingly young.
He says: "I knew I wanted to become involved in business administration since I was a little child. When I first entered the workforce, however, I worked as an auditor, focusing particularly on local businesses and agencies. I was called in to audit Staffing PR, and was very impressed with what I found there. But what impressed me even more is that they offered me a job. Six years later, I am ready for my next promotion."
Since Whippo has been promoted to a position that focuses more on policies and procedures, he is now on a committee to help find someone to replace him. He is looking for someone who has both a human resources and a finance perspective.
One of the interesting things for Whippo will be that he suddenly has to manage a huge budget. Staffing PR has a budget of over $20 million, which is a significant sum of money.
"Have you ever heard the saying that 'he who is faithful in little will be faithful in much'? It's true. If your employer sees that you are responsible, and know how to wisely use every dollar that you manage then they will be more willing to trust you with important things."-www.thebeautifulbusiness.com
The budget is incredibly complex because it is made up of local, state, and federal funds, as well as private donations. Staffing PR works with school districts, ensuring that the services they provide are top of the range. Whippo, therefore, has an interesting transition period ahead of him, not just because his role will be very different, but also because he will have far greater responsibilities. He says: "This is the career move I have been waiting for. I love working for Staffing PR and the opportunity they have offered me is like my dream job. I cannot wait to get stuck in, and I feel so privileged to be able to learn from Robert before he leaves."
